Bikers for Christ, Illinois is a chapter of BFC International which is a motorcycle ministry whose sole purpose is serving Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

  1. WHO WE ARE
BFC, IL is a non-profit motorcycle ministry, who exists soley to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through service, fellowship and evangelism. We strive to effectively minister to those in need and provide spiritual service where and whenever we can.
  2. WHAT KINDA BIKES?
Any motor bike 500cc's and over that is street legal. We welcome crusiers (Harley, Honda, etc.), choppers (custom or otherwise), sportbikes (Kawasaki, Suzuki, etc), trikes and scooters. Some of us enjoy many different styles of motorcycles and wholeheartedly welcome ALL! We all come in every shape, size and color, as do our bikes. Please take note: the spouse of a rider is also eligible for membership without having a bike.
  3. WHERE WE DO OUR THING
Our goal of ministering to the lost can be done anywhere at anytime. We support all those who use their God given gifts & talents to evangelize in whatever form that may be or that you feel lead to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. These take on many different forms, passing out information, praying, making new friendships, living by example, etc.... Motorcycles are our tools to be used to gain an audience with those that wouldn't be available otherwise. They open the door to a world that is waiting anxiously, whether conscientiously or not, to be given the gospel of Jesus Christ through any way it can be.
  4. WHY WE DO THIS
BFC, IL offers our services to a variety of organizations and events throughout the year. We have an attitude of servitude, as Jesus washed the feet of His disciples, we want to work in this attitude. BFC, IL has served as bike parkers, run route guides, security or simply to pick up the trash that's left behind at the end of the event. We participate in rides as well and evangelize with our presence as a group of brothers and sisters in Christ.
  5. WHEN WE GET TOGETHER
We regularly fellowship with our BFC brothers and sisters on the 1st Saturday of every month. We meet at 10am for about an hour and generally have a ride afterwards. The current location is at Waterman Bible Church. Please be sure to contact us if you are interested in coming out to a meeting, location can vary based on our service calender.
  6. HOW DO I JOIN
You must get and complete an application(this can be obtained from your local elder or the BFC international site). Answer a few questions and have your pastor sign off on it for you. We will call your pastor. PLEASE be sure to take time out and pray about this commitment and be sure to discuss it with your husband/wife. There is no prospect process, but we do want you to understand the seriousness and commitment involved. There is no annual fee or dues associated with joining or being a member.
